This privacy policy explains how Quanten Security handles personal data submitted through this public website. It is a website notice and does not replace customer-specific data processing terms.
Data controller
The website contact for privacy questions is Quanten Security at info@4eck-media.de. Legal entity and registered-office details are pending final publication by the site owner.
Data Protection Officer: Whether a Data Protection Officer is required or appointed for Quanten Security is pending final publication by the site owner. Until that status is confirmed, privacy enquiries should be sent to info@4eck-media.de.
Data we collect
When you visit the site, the hosting environment may process server-log data such as IP address, request time, requested URL, browser information, HTTP status, and transferred data volume. When you use the contact form, we process the details you provide voluntarily, including name, work email, organisation, topic, message content, and consent confirmation. When you use the newsletter signup form, we process the submitted email address.
Purpose and legal basis
- Server-log data is processed to operate, secure, monitor, and defend the website on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in reliable and secure website operation.
- Contact-form data is processed to respond to enquiries, route requests, and take requested pre-contractual steps on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Where processing is needed to document, route, or defend website enquiries, it is also based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- Newsletter signup data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, consent. Consent can be withdrawn at any time with future effect.
- Form security checks, including WordPress nonces and honeypot fields, are processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in preventing spam, abuse, and automated submissions.
Contact and newsletter handling
Contact and newsletter forms submit to first-party WordPress endpoints on this site. Submissions are forwarded to the configured WordPress email recipient when mail delivery is available. If mail delivery is unavailable, the theme stores a capped fallback record in non-autoloaded WordPress options: up to 100 contact submissions containing the supplied form fields, and up to 250 newsletter signup records containing the email address and timestamps. The fallback stores do not intentionally include IP addresses, user agents, cookies, or campaign metadata.
Analytics and marketing
The public theme does not intentionally include third-party analytics tags, marketing pixels, embedded social trackers, behavioural advertising integrations, or CRM/list-sync integrations. If those services are introduced later, visitor-facing disclosure and any required consent controls should be reviewed before launch.
Retention
Server logs are deleted or anonymised after at most 14 days unless a longer period is required to investigate or defend against a specific security incident. Contact and newsletter messages are retained only as long as needed to respond, process the signup request, maintain a business record, or satisfy applicable legal obligations. The fallback WordPress option stores are capped at 100 contact submissions and 250 newsletter signup records as described above and should be reviewed or cleared by an administrator when no longer needed.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, or withdrawal of consent where applicable under data-protection law. Send requests to info@4eck-media.de. Under Art. 77 GDPR, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the EU Member State of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement. The specific competent supervisory authority for Quanten Security is pending final publication by the site owner once the legal entity and registered seat are confirmed.
Updates
This policy was last reviewed in June 2026 and will be updated when legal, controller, retention, analytics, newsletter, or operational details change.
